A panel on War and Sexuality follows Lysistrata on April 19th
Synetic Theater announces a panel on War and Sexuality moderated by Elizabeth Van Den Berg of McDaniel College following the 3p.m. performance of Lysistrata on April 19th.
Panelists include
- Matthew Amati, Howard University, PhD of University of Wisconsin at Madison with his dissertation on Stagecraft in Aristophanes
- Arnold Bradford, Georgetown Liberal Studies, PhD of University of Virginia in English Literature with graduate work in art history at George Mason University.
- Derek Goldman, Adaptor/ Director of Synetic Theater’s Lysistrata, Director of Theater and Performance Studies at Georgetown University as well as artistic director of the Davis Performing Arts Center
- Deidra Lawan Starnes, Actress in Synetic Theater’s Lysistrata, 2009 Helen Hayes Award Recipient for Outstanding Lead Actress, Resident Play, MFA in Drama from the University of Connecticut.
