What is Synetic Teen Program?

Synetic Teen program is a collection of classes, intensives, internships, and performances for passionate performers ages 13 to 18 looking for a chance to receive professional training in physical theater. The teen program operates year round and tends to center around the Winter/Spring Teen Production which takes place in Synetic Theater's Crystal City location. This production accepts 20 teens each year from across the metro DC area, and if accepted teens take part in a full rehearsal process and are given access to a professional artistic team including a professional Director, Assistant Director, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Costumer, Lighting Designer, etc. This production is highly competitive and those who wish to audition should look into some of the classes and workshops offered at Synetic prior to auditioning.

Synetic for the Teenager

Class Dates: Feb. 14 - March 27, 2012
This a beginner/intermediate level class in Synetic technique for students ages 14 to 18. This class will focus on training the mind and body of a physical theater performer and will result in a culminating piece to be seen by the Artistic Director of Synetic Theater. This class will take place on Tuesdays from 6 pm to-7:30 pm.

Please feel free to drop-in to this class to learn more about Synetic Teen Programs. Drop-in rate is $35 and can be paid directly to the teacher when entering the class.
