Synetic Theater in Crystal City

Location: Free Parking Garage

The Official parking for Synetic Theater Patrons is located beneath the Crystal City Marriott at 1999 Jefferson Davis Highway. The garage is accessed ONLY on 20th Street. This entrance is located just to the left of the Crystal City Marriott (which is to the left of Synetic Theater) and can be accessed by turning onto 20th street from Rt. 1 or South Bell Street. There are two parking garages with side by side entrances on 20th Street: one designated for Synetic Theater parking and one for Marriott hotel parking. Enter through the left entrance, when facing the two garage entrances only. A gold Synetic directional sign is posted in the middle of the two entrances with an arrow directing patrons to use the left entrance. This free garage is ONLY available after 4:00 PM on weekdays, all-day on weekends and Holidays and for special Synetic performances.

NOTE: The right entrance is parking for Marriottt guests. The Marriott parking is not free to patrons at any time. All drivers are charged a fee to park in the Marriott garage. Synetic Theater does not validate for parking.

After you park, proceed to the elevator lobby. Select “C” for Concourse in the elevator. Turn left as you exit the elevator, and then take a right at the Optometrist’s office. The theater will be a few paces ahead on your right.

In addition, there are plenty of metered parking spaces on area streets, as well as over 4,000 free parking spaces in local garages on weekday evenings and all day on weekends and holidays. Metered street parking is generally free after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and free all day on Sundays.

Please allow enough time to find parking. Performances begin promptly. Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate break in the play or may be seated in the rear. Please observe parking restrictions. Synetic Theater is not responsible for the condition of parking meters on neighborhood streets.

Synetic Theater at Lansburgh Theatre

Please check parking garage hours if you will not be parking in the garages listed below. Many close before final curtain, are not open on weekends or have erratic hours.

PMI Parking

Closes at midnight.

The PMI Parking garage is at the corner of 9th and D streets NW; enter the garage from D St. Present your ticket stub to the parking attendant when you leave to receive the theatre rate of $6.00

Colonial Parking

Closes at midnight.

The Colonial Parking garage in the Lansburgh building offers elevator access to 7th St.; enter on 8th St. Inform the parking attendant that you are attending a Shakespeare Theatre Company performance to receive the theatre rate of $15.00

The parking facilities are independent companies not affiliated with the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Synetic Theater or the Harman Center for the Arts.

Street Parking

Street parking is difficult to find near the Lansburgh Theatre.  Parking enforcement is very strict and cars are towed regularly. Please read the parking signs carefully.

Synetic Studio in Shirlington Village

Free parking available in the Randolph Square Parking Garage. Customers may enter the garage by taking S. Arlington Mill Drive, Left onto S. Randolph Street and taking your first right after crossing over Campbell Avenue.

Campbell Avenue Parking Garage is off of S. Arlington Mill Drive and Southbound on Campbell Avenue. FREE 7 Days a Week. No Retail Parking on Level 4 or Rooftop.

Free parking also available in the Shirlington Surface Parking Lot. Entrances on S. Randolph Street and S. Arlington Mill Drive.

Additional parking is located in the WETA Parking Garage, Quincy Garage, Shirlington Garage and on the upper levels of the Harris Teeter Garage. Limited free street parking is also available.
